YOUTH PROGRAMS
GOH Run organizes programs for youth development in several communities.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
GOH Run organizes programs for youth development annually across Northeast Ohio. These programs provide a curriculum that not only prepares our young runners to be fit for life, but also teaches cooperation, teamwork and builds confidence. We aim to teach life skills as well as fitness while setting goals and working toward success.
Our programming typically includes week-long summer day camps (half-day), fall family fun runs, and sometimes even eight-week fall training programs. We provide experienced coaching and a fun set of activities to inspire and motivate. We typically charge a small fee and offer scholarships for those who are unable to pay. Participants are usually between the ages of 5 and 12.
Registration and location details are announced on the website below and all GOH Run and Guardian Mile social media channels.
Boys & Girls Club of NEO Partnership
In 2025, we again partnered with the Boys and Girls Club of Northeast Ohio to provide free youth running programs for members of their Lorain and Sheffield Lake clubs, as in 2023-24. This followed successful camps at the Broadway (Cleveland) Boys and Girls Club in 2021-2022. Our mission is to bring youth running opportunities to more communities.
We will continue to work with the Boys and Girls Club of Northeast Ohio and similar mission-driven partners to grow our outreach and serve more young runners. You can help with your support of our youth programs by contacting our executive director, Rae Alexander. Use the button below to get in touch!
